Friend Day at the Coxen Hole Church

A successful outreach ministry of the congregation of the church in Coxen Hole, “Friend Day”, has been held for the first  time.

The congregation is encouraged to invite one or more friends, unchurched family members, to this special service held in our church in Coxen Hole. Every church member invites a friend  and prays for him or her. The informal service includes contemporary music, an evangelistic sermon, lunch or supper  for everyone, and a special time for the children. Following the service, we serve the food, All in all, it’s a great time to share in some fun as a congregation while providing an ideal environment for introducing the Episcopal Church to a few potential members.

Friend Day is a unique outreach for our church. We invite our friends for a time of worship that provides a wonderful opportunity to bring those who may become part of our congregation in Coxen Hole.

We are planning the next Friend Day, and we encourage our church members  to help and to start thinking now of who they’ll invite to this next Friend Day!

We are excited to be purchasing the land soon and look forward to being able to move there and plan more activities for everyone in a bigger place.
