The Independence Day of Hondurus is celebrated on 15th September.Honduras got independence in 1821.Before that it was governed as part of New Spain. It had been fighting for the independence of a Central American Federation for a long days.In Hondurus this day is celebrated enthusiastically.The flag is raised across the country. Schools and colleges remain closed for the celebrations and children participate whole-heartedly in music making, dancing and marching.
